Launched here in 2014, Varsity Rush’s second event for families, teenagers and children adds more obstacles and longer distances. Participates will find a Competitive Obstacle Course Race (OCR) wave and a Competitive Workout of the Day (WOD) that also incorporates high-school athletics.
Additionally, the Naperville event will offer a modified Special Needs Race.

Varsity Rush – Feed the Rush! is designed to bring a healthy fitness experience to families and children, allowing them to participate together. The course design gives participants the opportunity to experience obstacle course racing and traditional sports mixed in a way that is fun, entertaining, challenging, and sparks the interest in kids for athletics they can participate in through schools and park districts. The Competitive Workout of the Day (WOD) and Competitive Obstacle Course Race (OCR) wave adds another fun and exciting element to the event.
“We are extremely proud to have our second event here in Naperville,” said Sean Hastings, Co-Founder of Varsity Rush. “We want this event to inspire children, teenagers, and their parents to get out and exercise in a fun environment. Adding a family component allows parents and kids to train and challenge each other even further, and overcoming physical obstacles helps kids gain the confidence to overcome life’s obstacles.”
