My next dinning adventure took me to Ted’s Montana Grill for a Bison treat!
Ted’s is located at 39 West Jefferson Avenue and their hours are 11AM-10PM Sunday through Thursday and from 11AM – 11PM Friday and Saturday.
The atmosphere reminded me a lot of some of the places we ate at in Montana. The first Ted’s grill opened up in 2002 by Ted Turner and George McKerrow, Jr. Ted decided to share his love of the Big Sky Country and its tradition of hearty food.
Ted’s overarching framework is “Eat Great. Do Good.”
For my starter I choose the Bison Nachos. They were overflowing with mouthwatering ingredients, lots of pepper jack cheese, bison chili and fresh toppings. Large enough for all to share.
For my main course I went with George’s Cadillac, I had mine made with the Bison meat, but you can also do certified Angus beef or a grilled chicken breast. The burger was cooked to perfection juicy and moist. Lots of flavor in the bison meat.
It was topped with BBQ sauce, bacon, chipotle sauce, and onion straws. It is definitely a two-handed sandwich.
For dessert I went with the IBC Root Beer Float. YUMMY! Perfect ending to the perfect meal.
So next time your strolling down Jefferson Street and you’re in the mood for some Big Sky Country food, stop into Ted’s and tell them Jack the Foodie sent ya! Yee haw!
