Though the nominating deadline is past for 2014, residents are encouraged to consider nominating someone from the Naperville Fire Department who has gone beyond the call of duty any time for the 2015 CAPS recognition.  The same invitation applies regarding the Naperville Police Department for its annual CAPS Recognition Dinner held in the spring.

Previous Post: The City of Naperville seeks nominations from the community throughout the year to recognize outstanding service by Fire Department personnel for its annual Citizens Appreciate Public Safety (CAPS) awards event.

Nominations for 2014 are due Friday, October 10, 2014.

Each year, Naperville residents are asked to nominate public safety employees who displayed an interest in Naperville’s residents in a manner above and beyond the call of duty and exhibited a genuine concern for the welfare and well being of all Naperville citizens.

The nomination form is available at www.NapervilleCAPS.com. Fire Department nominations can be sent to Ruthi Sommers via e-mail sommersr@naperville.il.us, fax at (630)420-4094 or mail to Naperville Fire Department, 1380 Aurora Ave., Naperville, IL 60540.
