Calamos Investments®*, a global investment firm, recently enhanced its Summer Internship Program, and preparations for next summer have already begun. The program, open to individuals entering the next school year as Juniors, Seniors or Masters students, has doubled in size in recent years and offers participants an invaluable experience that prepares them for all aspects of the workforce.
Highlights of the program include:
- Exposure to a premier global investment management organization and the ability to work alongside top members of the financial industry
- Challenging projects and responsibilities that require interns to utilize their college education
- Interaction with the senior management team, including a meeting with Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Global Co-Chief Investment Officer John P. Calamos, Sr.
- Training and self-study opportunities through the internal Calamos Academy program, including classes on business etiquette, client service and leadership
- Mentoring and development sessions in collaboration with the firm’s New Professionals to the Workforce Group, during which interns learn from full-time Calamos associates within their peer group
- Community volunteering and social outings to allow for a well-rounded experience
