Ribfest is just around the corner. New this year is “Family Funtime.” Family Funtime will take place from noon to 3PM each day, July 4-7. Admission is $10 at the gate only.
During Family Funtime, a Carnival “unlimited ride pass” will be the same hours for $10 also. Ticket sales for the Carnival will end at 2PM. Unlimited rides are only for the Noon to 3PM time period. Come and bring your family to enjoy Ribfest.
Thanks to Marty Walker, 2013 Ribfest Chair! Marty has done a remarkable job leading this annual event. In conjunction with Independence Day, Ribfest runs from July 3 through July 7. Come and enjoy the Ribs!
New Exchange Club Officers were recently elected and will take over at the close of Ribfest on July 7. Dawn Portner will serve as President. Bob Black is President Elect. Trish Krenick will be the new Secretary and Scott Duenser will continue on as Treasurer. Jennifer Odin Cavalier will be the Immediate Past President. On behalf of all members of Exchange Club, I am grateful to all of these members for stepping up to leadership roles.
A special thank you also goes to Jennifer Odin Cavalier for her dedicated leadership this past year. It is because of great leadership and the volunteer spirit of the members that make the Naperville Exchange Club such a vital part of this wonderful community.
Remember you are always welcome to join us for a luncheon meeting on the first and third Fridays at noon at Hugo’s Frog Pond. We welcome your interest in our club as we’re always seeking new members who embrace our mission.
