The Clifford Crone Middle School held its annual Clifford Crone Leadership Awards Ceremony today, June 4, to honor two outstanding 8th grade students.
The award is presented to students who have demonstrated leadership abilities and academic excellence. Teachers nominated students and the winners were determined by a vote of Crone Middle School faculty and staff.
The school and the award are named in honor of Dr. Clifford Crone, former Superintendent, CUSD District 204.
Janelle Finch, daughter of Thomas and Tina Finch was recognized with the 2013 Clifford Crone Leadership Award Winner (girls). Brett Merriman, son of Phillip and Joan Merriman received the 2013 Clifford Crone Leadership Award Winner (boys).
Finch and Merriman will attend Neuqua Valley High School in the fall of 2013.
Clifford Crone Middle School is located at 4020 111th St, in the southwest section of Naperville in Indian Prairie Unit School District 204. The public school, one of the district’s seven middle schools, serves grades 6 – 8.
Indian Prairie Unit School District 204 will wrap up the school year on June 5. School reopens August 22 for the 2013-14 School Year.
