At its headquarters in Northbrook on March 22, AHSS associates and friends celebrated with a few of the client families that have been with the company since the beginning of 2010 and remain as clients today.

Founder Steve Kaufman greeted the guests, highlighting the beginnings of the company and its work to address the gap of behavior therapy in the home environment.

“When I envisioned this company three years ago, we planned to provide the highest quality ABA therapy supported by infrastructure that enable our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to focus on their clients.,”  noted Kaufman. “With our team of 20 BCBA’s and 150 in-home therapists, we have made a positive difference in the lives of so many of our clients.”

CEO Laura McKee talked about the commitment of the company to the families and its appreciation for the families’ commitment to the therapy.

“We are grateful to our dedicated team of passionate therapists who make progress towards our client family hopes and dreams every day,” said McKee. “It is rewarding to see what 10 or more hours a week of therapy can achieve over time.”

Kenn Miller, Vice President of Community Relations, is available for presentations to individuals, community groups and organizations throughout DuPage County, Fox Valley and the Aurora area.

“Another associate and I cover services for families in Naperville, DuPage County and Fox Valley,” said Miller, who resides in Naperville. “In my role as community relations, I’m happy to speak to interested groups to tell them about the individualized in-home services we provide from customized care to behavior modification.”

Miller can be reached at (847) 564-0822, on his mobile at (630) 544-1211 or via e-mail at kennm@AutismHomeSupport.com.
