Merry Tuba Christmas / 11AM Dec. 2

The chance to perform with seasoned musicians from the Naperville Municipal Band likely will attract roughly 100 tuba, euphonium and Sousaphone players to the annual Tuba Christmas on the lawn of US Bank at the northeast corner of Washington at Jefferson in downtown Naperville. With resounding joy, holiday music will fill the air with traditional favorites beginning at 11:15 Sat., Dec. 2. Then the musicians will head to the Food Court in the Fox Valley Mall to play beginning at 12:30PM.

Join the crowd of spectators! It’s a blast.

Santa officially arrives in downtown Naperville during the Little Friends Parade of Lights / 7PM Sat., Dec. 2.

Afterward, visit the jolly old elf with a gift list at the Riverwalk Santa House, located at Jackson Avenue and Webster Street. During special hours for weekdays and weekends, Santa will welcome visitors through Dec. 23, 2017.

Stay tuned! Naperville Municpal Band Holiday Concert / 3PM Dec. 17

Then at 3PM Sun., Dec. 17, the Naperville Municipal Band returns in formal dress attire with special seasonal touches to perform its annual holiday concert on stage at the Wentz Concert Hall.

The concert is free of admission charge. This year, however, the concert also will showcase the fine accomplishments of Loaves & Fishes Community Services. Concert goers are asked to bring a nonperishable item.

Loaves & Fishes provided a list of their ten most needed items at the moment. When purchasing donations for any collection to Loaves & Fishes, consider the items in the list.
