International Housekeeping Week typically is slated annually for a week in September, a time set aside to honor and recognize the year-round heroes of housekeeping for their dedication to hospitality and service.

On Thursday, the Chicago Marriott Naperville celebrated its housekeepers during Housekeeping Appreciation Week by hosting an excursion aboard Naperville Trolley & Tours.
“Take care of associates and they’ll take care of your customers,” J Willard Marriott advised his managers on a regular basis.
Marriott’s quote is considered the foundation to the organization’s success and remains as today’s culture at the Chicago Marriott Naperville, event organizers said.
In addition to the trolley tour, housekeepers employed by the Chicago Marriott Naperville spent this past week celebrating their successes by participating in fun games and receiving special treats and more.
