Naperville Evening Kiwanis and Naperville Jaycees team up with holiday fundraiser

Above / Baskets of fruits and tins of gourmet nuts are now available to order in support of service projects organized by the Naperville Evening Kiwanis and the Naperville Jaycees.

This holiday season, members of the Naperville Evening Kiwanis and the Naperville Jaycees are volunteering together to sell fruit baskets and gourmet nuts as a holiday fundraiser to help support their service clubs’ local projects. All orders must be received by Thurs., Dec. 1, 2016, for pick up on Dec. 14 or delivery on Dec. 15 and Dec. 16.

Holiday Fruit Baskets

Each contains a colorful assortment of apples, oranges, pears, kiwis, tangerines, limes, lemons, mandarins and grapefruit.

  • Sampler Plate – 8 pieces fruit – $12
  • Small 1/2 Peck – 15 pieces assorted fruit – $27.00
  • Medium Peck – 28 pieces assorted fruit – $41.00
  • Large 1/2 Bushel – 55 pieces assorted fruit topped with a fresh pineapple! – $62

Whether you pick the popular 8-piece Sampler Plate, (perfect as a thank-you or hostess gift), or one of the larger baskets, the prime quality assortment of fruit is packaged with holiday shred, cellophane and a lovely bow, organizers said.

Gourmet Nuts

Each reusable tin of nuts weighs over 1 1/2 pounds. The tin is decorated with a traditional winter scene and is packed in a ready-to-ship carton.

  • Cashews – Large, Whole, Delicious – $25.00
  • Praline Pecans – Sweet and Salty – $25.00
  • Gourmet Mixed Nuts – Nice combo of all the favorites (no peanuts included) $25

All orders will be available for pick up between 4:30 and 6:30PM on Wed., Dec. 14, at the Alive Center, located at 500 W. Fifth Avenue. Special arrangements can be made for delivery on Dec. 15 and Dec. 16 in Naperville and Lisle.
