Above / In January 2014, Nicki Anderson was named President/CEO of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce where she has served to reorganize the organization to strengthen outreach.  Some events such as the Small Business Awards that ran for 17 years have been replaced by new ones such as “A Toast to Our Members,” slated for September 22, 2016, at Wentz Concert Hall.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce welcomed 10 new executives to its Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 (CCC100), including Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO, Nicki Anderson. These experienced leaders advise the U.S. Chamber’s board of directors, enhance lobbying and coalition work, recommend programming, and strengthen outreach to the business and chamber communities.

“The CCC100 has a long-standing reputation as one of the most prestigious appointments in the chamber community,” said Rob Engstrom, SVP and National Political Director at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “These new members reflect our continued dedication to naming diverse, high-profile leaders to serve on this important committee.”

“As I close in on the end of my third year as CEO, it’s an honor to be selected for the CCC100. I not only look forward to sharing ideas with Chamber colleagues from all over the country, but this is great opportunity to learn from more seasoned CEOs,” said Anderson.  “My involvement with this committee is yet one more step toward providing our Members with progressive, relevant leadership.”

With representatives from all over the country, the CCC100 is an elite group of chamber executives which represents the perspectives and needs of chambers and their members to the U.S. Chamber.  CCC100 members attend two exclusive meetings each year on leadership, policy, and best practices.  Identifying emerging issues that will impact chambers and their members, CCC100 advises the U.S. Chamber on programs and services for chambers and provides feedback on policy-related issues.

Anderson will be attending her first meeting September 11-14 in Washington, D.C.

Anderson  assumed her job with the Naperville Chamber in 2014 and has been focused on growing the organization based on quality business opportunities for new and seasoned Members.

“The CCC100 is just one more way like-minded Chambers can connect and share ideas that will positively contribute to a successful business climate,” said Anderson.
