A special Quote Along/Sing Along version of the classic comedy Monty Python & The Holy Grail will be shown on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 7:30 PM, at the Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Avenue, in downtown Downers Grove. The special presentation will serve as a fundraiser for the After Hours Film Societys 14th Annual Say It In Eight Student Film Festival. Millennium Carillon Summer Recital Series – 7PM | Free

Talented carillonneurs from across the country and all over the world delight concert goers with an evening of music. Free performances are held rain or shine (unless there is lightning). The market features a variety of vendors offering seasonally fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as honey, farm fresh eggs, meat, cheese, organic specialty foods, breads, pastries and cookies, coffee, jams, sauces, freshly squeezed juices, baked empanadas, natural skin care products, French linens and many other fine offerings. In addition, families can enjoy a free weekly children’s story time program provided by the Naperville Public Library every 30 minutes during market hours. Stories, crafts and games relate to the summer theme of plants, insects and pollinators.

Book Lovers paradise! The AAUW Naperville Area Used Book Sale has it all- hardcovers/paperpack, fiction, military history, religion, CD’s/DVD’s, children’s books and more! Don’t forget the Fab Finds- autographed books, first editions and special finds all $5 and up. All items donated locally and in good condition. 6/15 is the Preview Party. Kick off the season at the Museum’s first Summer Family Event: BLOCK PARTY! Explore the Museums unique neighborhoods and take part in traditional, and not so traditional, block party games and activities for the whole family. Bean Bag Toss, Bozo Buckets, Twister, Jenga, Pool Noodle, Race Car Tracks, Paper Airplane Construction & Distance Contest, Wheres Pat?, Tye Dye Shirts* and More! This indoor event is the first in a series of three Summer Family Events taking place here at DuPage Childrens Museum. The event is FREE with Museum Membership or admission. *Tye dye shirts require an additional fee.

The Naperville Municpal Band Summer Concert Series continues at 7:30PM June 16. This performance is entitled “A European Vacation.” The Naperville Community Concert Center at Central Park offers benches for music-goers while many bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. In addition, many audience members pack a picnic or enjoy goodies available for purchase at the gazebo during the concert. Every week features a different charitable organization selling snacks, baked goods and beverages. Concerts continue every Thursday evening through August.
