Four-year-old Charlotte and two-year-old Gwenyth Gray were recently diagnosed with Batten disease. The Foundation was established to fund important medical research that hopefully will lead to a cure for this terrible disease. The Oct. 3 benefit, with celebrity hosts Giuliana and Bill Rancic, features a cocktail reception, dinner, entertainment and live auction, It will be held at the Embassy Suites Naperville, 1813 Abriter Court. Church services in the German language will be held at St. John United Church of Christ at 11:30 AM on Sunday, October 4. The service will be led by Pastor Dr. Egon Gerdes, and all are welcome to attend. St. John UCC is located at 1190 Olesen Drive.
