Little Friends, Inc., serving children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities for 50 years, has announced its upcoming events to benefit and raise awareness for Autism Awareness Month in April.
April 2 / World Autism Awareness Day is all day Thurs., April 2. Individuals can show support by wearing blue and changing outside lights to blue to help raise awareness in all communities throughout the world. Then keep the blue lights burning all during the month of April.
April 16 / The ServiceMaster DSI Bowling Event will be held from 6:30-10:30PM Thurs., April 16,at the Tivoli Bowl, located at 938 Warren Avenue in Downers Grove. Proceeds to benefit Little Friends.
April 21 / Dark Horse Pastries will present “A Sweet Night to Remember” from 5:30-7:30PM Tues., April 21, at Sullivan’s Steakhouse, 244 S. Main Street, Naperville. The event will benefit Little Friends.
April 24 / The River Prom will be hosted at 7PM Fri., April 24, by 95.9 The River at the Chicago Marriott Naperville, located at 1801 N. Naper Blvd. Tickets are available at 95.9 The River. Proceeds will Benefit Little Friends.
May Events
May 6-8 / 50 Hours of Giving will be hosted as an Online Giving Campaign to benefit Little Friends.
May 28 / Little Friends 50 th Anniversary Celebration is slated to be held from 5:30-7:30PM on Thurs., May 28 at Meson Sabika, 1025 Aurora Avenue, Naperville.
And remember to “Light Up Blue” to create awareness about autism all during the month of April.
