Goal is to discover needs of services for seniors, caregivers currently not provided
The City of Naperville’s Senior Task Force will host two focus groups in March. Senior citizens and their caregivers are invited to attend one or the other focus group taking place at 1:30PM on Wed., March 4, or 9:30AM on Fri., March 13.
The goal of these focus groups is to hear from seniors and caregivers about services they need that are not currently provided by any organization within the community.
Both focus groups will take place at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, 305 W. Jackson Ave. Registration is requested and space is limited; to register, call (630) 848-3613 or emailseniortaskforce@naperville.il.us.
The Naperville Senior Task Force was created in 2014 to improve the quality of life for seniors living in Naperville. The group has identified existing services in five areas of focus: housing, transportation, education, health care and collaboration. The focus groups will help the Task Force in identifying service gaps in those five areas. Additional focus groups in the coming months are being considered; if your organization would be interested in hosting a focus group for seniors and caregivers, please call (630) 848-3613 or email seniortaskforce@naperville.il.us.
