On Thurs., Feb. 5, Young Naperville Singers will host their annual “Diva Night; Girls Sing and Share” event.
Between 150 and 200 girls will lift their voices in song in a free concert, open to the public at 7:15PM.
The event will be held at the Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Chicago Avenue, on the campus of North Central College, where the girls will experience performing in a world-class venue. Community girls in grades 3 – 5 are invited to join the YNS singers and staff for an afternoon and evening of singing, fun, food and friends.
“For this event, we teach the girls how to use their voices but more importantly, we focus on the sheet joy of singing together,” noted Angie Johnson, Artistic Director for Young Naperville Singers. “It is more important than ever, that we strive to give our girls a voice both in singing and in spirit.”
Due to a partial grant from The Young Singers Foundation and the IL Arts Council, the cost of participation is only $10.
