Members of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and the community can now stay connected via the Chamber’s new iPhone app. The free app is available for download via the iTunes store by searching “napervillearea.”
“Our Members are always on the go running their businesses so we wanted to create an efficient, one-touch solution to help them stay connected. Through the app, our Members will be able to market and reach both existing customers and potentially new ones as well. Offering a free app is just another way we are helping our Members grow,” said Nicki Anderson, president & CEO.
Features include immediate dial-up and Google locator map for the Chamber and Members listed in the directory, the Chamber’s calendar of events, and access to additional information about the Chamber, staff email addresses and social media pages.
“The app is part of our initiative to adapt and evolve to meet the needs of our Members and the business community as a whole,” continued Anderson. “Relevancy will be key as we look at the future of our organization and determine how we can continue to be a resource for businesses.”
The Chamber worked with Village Profile to develop the app – the first app the company has ever published with a chamber of commerce. An app for Android devices is also being developed and the Chamber expects to launch it in the second half of 2014.
