25 area restaurants to serve up support for Taste of Hope

taste-of-hopeFoodies in the area are gearing up for DuPagePads 8th Annual Taste of Hope, a culinary explosion of signature dishes from more than 25 of the area’s most elite restaurants.

This delicious event will be held on Thursday, March 6 at Abbington Banquets in Glen Ellyn. Guests of the event will also enjoy wine from Wente Vineyards, beer from Whole Foods Wheaton and an open bar. Food, drinks and a wide selection of auction items, plus the opportunity to support DuPagePads mission to end homelessness, will allow attendees to enjoy with a happy heart.

Joining this year’s event: Abbington Banquets, Adelle’s Fine American Fare, The Capital Grille, Carlucci Downers Grove, Catch 35 Naperville, Chef Amaury’s Epicurean Affair, CityGate Grille, Devon Seafood & Steak, Empire by Ballydoyle, Glen Prairie Local Flavor, Indian Harvest, Ivy of Wheaton, J. Fleming’s Absolutely Delicious, Maggiano’s Little Italy of Naperville, Meson Sabika, Nothing Bundt Cakes Wheaton, Pinstripes, Rosebud, Seasons 52, SugarToad, Sushi House Wheaton, Starbucks Coffee Company, Torch Cookery, Weber Grill, Wildfire Oak Brook and Yerbabuena.

“We are very grateful for the tremendous support of our participating restaurants! Last year, because of events like the Taste of Hope, DuPagePads was able to provide Interim (overnight/emergency) Housing 365 nights a year for families and individuals; 137,809 meals were served to more than 1,451 individuals, including 140 families and 245 children. The work that DuPagePads does is vital to our community and we thank our sponsors and participating restaurants for partnering with us,” said Carol Simler, DuPagePads Executive Director.
