On Saturday, December 7, 11AM until 4PM and Sunday, December 8, noon until 3PM, the Naperville Area Humane Society will host the third annual Holiday Bazaar and Open House. Handcrafted gifts including jewelry, scarves and even pet accessories are among the items that will be available for purchase. In addition, the NAHS 2014 Pet Calendar will be available for sale along with NAHS holiday cards.
While at the shelter, shoppers are invited to visit with the cats and dogs at NAHS. Proceeds will help the Humane Society provide care for the cats and dogs that find themselves homeless this holiday season.
“Not only do we hope that Naperville area residents will join us for some festive shopping and maybe checking off a few items on their lists, but we are eager to showcase our efforts to provide compassionate care and comfort to the animals here at the shelter,” said Angie Wood, executive director of the Naperville Area Humane Society.
Members of the community can also donate gift cards to the Humane Society that will help purchase resources at area stores to keep pets safe and warm throughout the holidays.
