Max’s Mission and KidsMatter will host a special showing of the documentary “My Sister Liv” from 7 to 8:30PM Tues., April 23, in the Large Forum Room at Metea Valley High School.
The compelling film is approximately an hour long and will be followed by a panel discussion with experts in the field of suicide. “My Sister Liv” is directed by Grammy Award winning Alan Hicks and produced by Academy and Emmy Award winning Paula DuPré Pesmen.
The screening is open to anyone in the community, age 14 and older. Please note that the content is not appropriate for younger children. The film is powerful, engaging, and honest about mental illness, suicide and the aftershocks that occur when a family and community lose someone they love to suicide.
