“Santa is Coming to Naperville” by Steve Smallman is a beautifully illustrated children’s book, perfect for young children.
Follow Santa as he and his reindeer fly over Naperville bringing gifts to everyone who’s been good this year. Santa looks down on North Central College, Naperville North and Neuqua Valley High Schools. It’s a busy night for Santa, so he doesn’t have time to see all of our fabulous schools.
More than likely next year I’m sure he’ll do a flyover at Naperville Central, Metea Valley and Waubonsie Valley high schools. Santa knows that education is important, so he wants learners of all ages to keep reading- even during the holiday break. Santa encourages shoppers to stop by Anderson’s Bookshop to purchase books for everyone on their gift list. Santa’s sleigh has weight limits, too, just like all FAA approved aircraft. Let’s help him out and buy books!
Santa loves to golf in his off season and on his way to your house, he checks out Springbrook Golf Course. Has anyone spotted him during his off-season? I bet he’s a better putter than driver.
He also is a big fan of outdoor family fun and can’t resist making a pass over Naper Settlement and wishes he had time to look down on all of our parks, but made time to see Ashbury Park. It’s truly amazing that Naperville has over 130 parks! Over 70 of them have wonderful playgrounds. A couple of our subdivisions made his flight plan – Knoch Knolls and Tall Grass.
Steve has written a “Santa is Coming to….” book for almost every state and town. He even has one that can be personalized, “Santa is Coming to My House.” A special edition for that special child in your life can be ordered. The new title can be, “Santa is Coming to (child’s name)’s House.” How adorable is that?
Merry Christmas, Naperville!
