Journey with Autism – Illuminate your reason to celebrate

-

The holidays illuminate our need to find a reason to celebrate. We can be certain our family and friends, coworkers and even new neighbors will send us good cheer and invite us to go to gatherings, celebrating ancient events and the new coming year.

In the joining of our loved ones, food and drinks, splurges on gifts, and holiday decorations fill our homes and the streets and shops. What we fail so often to remember is the true and most important reason we bring our lights and good times to the way we live.

Holy sacred holidays say that our lives are brighter, our world has hope because of the miracles that were said to have happened in those long ago times.

For if the knowing we have Hope in even what seems to be the darkness, perhaps we will find more love in our hearts. The poor and lonely, as well as the oppressed and broken hearted need those of us more blessed to represent that once upon a time a light burned brightly to illustrate that right in our midst, in humble or hiding, those illuminations would change the world, pouring love and healing over all of humanity.

Our gift back, until we die, is to live with that light in our lives, hearts and minds forever.
