No appointment is necessary.
Then from 9:30AM to 12:30PM Sat., Aug. 24, Wehrli will host his annual Children’s Safety Expo at the Frontier Sports Complex, 3380 Cedar Glade Dr. Admission is free.
About 40 booths will be staffed by a variety of groups and organizations that assist children and families, and kids will be able to enjoy the popular “touch-a-truck” exhibit, featuring at least 20 different trucks, squad cars, maintenance vehicles and more. Brookfield Zoo will host a “show and tell” demonstration at 10AM and the Traveling World of Reptiles show will take place at 11AM. Face painting and other activities will be available throughout the event.
“My Children’s Safety Expo is always very popular and promises to be a load of fun for families,” Wehrli said. “The reptile show and zoo show-and-tell are especially fun for kids of all ages. I hope to have another great turnout for this free annual summer event.”
