‘Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast’ is set to return to Benedictine University on Nov. 2

DuPagePads will host the 14th Annual Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast from 7-8:30AM on Wed., Nov. 2, 2016.

Tickets are now on sale for DuPagePads’ most inspirational event, held again at Benedictine University in Lisle. The entire community is invited to begin their day with this truly uplifting event.

Carol Simler, President & CEO of DuPagePads will highlight new programs, current developments and the agency’s vision for the future.  A DuPagePads’ participant will share their journey with the audience and keynote speaker, Dan Hampton, will complete the exhilarating program.

Dan Hampton, also known as “Danimal” is a retired Hall of Fame football defensive tackle who played 12 seasons for the Chicago Bears in the NFL, and led the defense to a 1986 Chicago Bear Super Bowl Championship. Enduring 10 knee surgeries and numerous other injuries, Hampton become recognized as one of the game’s most dedicated players.

His inspiring story will be presented at this year’s Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast.

“We are thrilled to have Dan Hampton as our keynote speaker. With his relentless determination, he can surely relate to our tagline: when someone believes in you, everything can change,” says Carol Simler, DuPagePads President & CEO.

Tickets for the 2016 breakfast are available for $40 per person on or before Oct. 14 and $45 per person after Oct. 16. Proceeds from the Wake Up Your Spirit Breakfast will provide crucial support services to families and individuals who are homeless as they work toward a place to call home.
