Naperville Responds for Our Veterans hosted their annual “Strength and Honor” Lunch on Wednesday, April 13, to honor and give thanks to Veterans. The featured speaker was Vietnam Veteran Bob “Doc” Adams.
Bob “Doc” Adams is a combat Veteran of Vietnam, having served as a Corpsman with the Second Battalion First Marines in 1968. Along with Gulf War combat veteran Dirk Enger, Bob co-founded and is the board president and clinical director of the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton.
