NAHC provides venues to network and pay attention

-

NAHC Camera Ready LogoSeptember is here and it is time for the NAHC to get back into action. Even though our meetings have been on hiatus since May, we have been busy preparing for a jam-packed fall.

Our regular monthly membership meetings return on Sat., Sept. 20, when we gather in Lower Level meeting Rooms B&C of the Naperville Municipal Center at 8AM for coffee and networking sponsored by Baum Property Management. The meeting starts at 8:30AM and this month’s speaker will be from Tressler LLP. On the agenda will be an overview of legal issues that associations and nonprofit organizations may face due to the Palm II court decision. Springfield was also busy passing new laws and we will review these as well.

Speaking of Springfield, at 7AM on Wed., Oct 1, in the Naperville Municipal Center we will question candidates in locally contested Illinois House of Representatives races.
Yet, two days earlier at 7PM on Mon., Sept. 29, and also in the same venue, we will provide an opportunity to learn where candidates for open seats on the DuPage County Board stand. Check the Confederation website at www.napervillehomeowners.com for more details on which candidates will be participating.

NAHC Candidate Forums will be broadcast live on the City of Naperville Public Access Station WCNC (Channel 6 WOW, Channel 10 Comcast, and Channel 99 on AT&T). Forums will also be replayed in the weeks prior to the November election. We welcome community participation in the audience, including providing questions to our screeners for use during the forums.

We hope to see you at our upcoming events!
