Naperville Community Television is ringing in the New Year with a host of programming focused on you, our community. Tune in for our weekly newscast “Naperville News 17” with anchor, Natalie Vitale, providing a local perspective on national news, city news that matters to you as well as an in-depth look at the people and places of our neighborhoods. Check out “Naperville Sports Weekly” and find out from anchor, Justin Zipser, how the six local high schools are doing in all of the girls’ and boys’ varsity sports.
Liz Spencer sits down and talks with a variety of interesting residents on “Naperville Notables.” Up in January is the always entertaining Ray Kinney. On “Spotlight” viewers will get to know more of our local not-for-profits and find out how they can get involved in the good work being done within our community.
In January, we will be broadcasting Mayor Pradel’s last “State of the City” address. We also will be airing the second episode of “School Scene” with Superintendents Dr. Karen Sullivan and Dan Bridges talking with guests about the new trend in education: Online and Blended Learning. April brings a local election that promises to be fascinating; NCTV17 will provide coverage to bring you all the details and updates.
Throughout the year we will be showcasing the Fine Arts programs at the local high schools as we cover some of their musical and dance performances. You can also tune in for community programming such as “Eyes on Naperville” with Kevin Dolan, “Career Center” with Kim White and guests providing tips and tactics for job seekers and “Great Books” with host Jack Hatfield.
