District 203 and District 204 boards of education will host remote meetings at 7PM August 3

Above / Families with students served by Naperville Community Unit School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204 are urged to get the straight scoop about plans to begin the 2020-21 school year. Board of education meetings, both scheduled remotely, are set to begin at 7PM Mon., August 3. Stay tuned whenever possible. Note also, Naperville City Council meets this week at 7PM Tues., August 4.

District 203 Board of Education meets Mon., August 3, 2020

The Naperville Community Unit School District 203 Board of Education meets Mon., August 3, 2020. For the BOE documents, click here: go.boarddocs.com.

Please note, due to the extension of the Governor’s Executive order, this meeting will be a remotely-held meeting and will be live-streamed on the Naperville CUSD 203 website.

Any individual who would like to make a public comment can submit via email to Publiccomments@naperville203.org by 4PM on Mon., August 3, 2020.

District 204 Board of Education meets Mon., August 3, 2020

The IPSD 204 Board of Education will hold a special meeting beginning at 7PM on Mon., August 03, 2020. Find current agenda and supporting BOE documents at BoardDocs. To maintain social distancing practices during COVID-19, the BOE meeting will be held virtually. The video conference will live-stream simultaneously on the District 204 YouTube channel.

According to news released by superintendents from both Naperville Community Unit School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204, the school year will begin remotely on Thurs., Aug. 20, 2020.

• Listen by telephone (audio only) – registration to receive dial-in phone number required by calling the City Clerk’s Office at (630) 305-5300, by 5PM on August 4.

To submit a public comment for the meeting, members of the public must register by 5PM on August 4 at the speaker sign up.

The public may choose to chime in a variety of ways…

1. Submit a written comment to the City in advance of the City Council meeting (by 5PM on August 4) to be read into the public record during the City Council meeting by a member of staff.
2. Submit a one-word statement of “SUPPORT” or “OPPOSITON” regarding a specific agenda item to be read into the public record during the City Council meeting by a member of staff.
3. Address the City Council live during the City Council meeting via spoken audio. Individuals who want to address the Council live must sign up to speak in advance of the City Council meeting (by 5PM on August 4).

Once signed up, the individual will receive an email from the City Clerk’s Office after the sign-up time ends with information about how to join the meeting.

Online sign-up closes at 5PM on August 4, at which time no other speakers or comments will be accepted.

The Naperville City Council typically meets twice monthly at 7PM on the first and third Tuesday. For information on how to watch and/or stream it live while it is hosting local government meetings remotely (virtually), click here to visit the City’s website.
