On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at approximately 11:40AM, Naperville Police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Bailey Road for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, responding officers learned that the victim had arranged to meet the offender to sell a high-value item. Upon meeting, however, two subjects approached the victim on foot, displayed a handgun, grabbed the item and fled the scene in a red vehicle. No one was injured during this incident.
The offenders are described as follows:
Suspect 1- male, 20-22 yrs. old, 5’10, 200 lbs. wearing a hooded sweatshirt,
Suspect 2- male 20-22 yrs. old, 5’6”, medium build.

Naperville Police Station provides safe location for internet purchase exchanges
Naperville Police encourage the public to utilize the Naperville Police Department as a safe location to meet and complete transactions that began online. The department’s front lobby is available for this purpose Monday through Friday from 7AM to 8PM and on Saturdays from 10AM to 6PM.
When the lobby is closed, the public is encouraged to use the department’s front parking lot, where two designated parking spaces provide a well-lit, video-recorded location with access to an emergency telephone.
The Naperville Public Safety Center is located at 1350 Aurora Avenue.
