Naper Settlement presents the following events and programs during July 2026. The museum is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10AM-4PM and Sunday from 1-4PM with general museum admission $12 for adults (13+), $10 for seniors (62+), $9 for veterans, and $8 for youth (4-12). Naperville residents with proof of residency, children under 4, and members receive complimentary admission. Family STEM Night: Solar Science

Become an astronomer and investigate the largest star in the galaxy…the sun! Engineer your own rocket and launch it higher and higher and then check out some solar flares. This program is recommended for children ages 5 to 11 and their caretaker.
Craft by Beer: America 250 History on Tap Trivia

Raise a glass to 250 years of American history! Test your knowledge of the people, inventions, and moments that shaped our nation. Enjoy brews, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs as we celebrate the American spirit in honor of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. This program is for adults only – you must be at least 21 years of age to participate. Gettysburg Day

Take a fun and engaging step back in time to commemorate the 163rd anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg as you experience life in Naperville during the crucial summer of 1863. Join Naper Settlement for Illinois Humanities’ Community Conversations: History Belongs to All of Us and explore the founding of the United States through the lens of local history. Each program creates space for shared conversation, activity, learning, and connection through the joy of investigating history in its rawest form: the primary document and artifact. Community Conversations is a facilitated discussion amongst community members. This experience goes beyond a traditional lecture and encourages participants to share and connect their own lived experiences to our country’s history. This program’s topic is about the comparison of the Gettysburg Address and the Declaration of Independence.

Spanning across Naper Settlement’s 13-acre outdoor campus, the museum’s historic buildings and gardens create a unique backdrop for visitors to experience some of the nation’s most recognized tribute performances while enjoying dozens of local restaurants, food trucks, businesses, a FREE children’s area, and more! On July 17, catch a ZZ Top tribute by Eliminator from 6-7:30PM, featuring iconic fur-covered guitars, full replica stage attire, and every detail dialed in to honor one of rock’s most legendary bands. Then, experience the signature sound and classic hits of The Doobie Brothers with The Doobie Others from 8-10PM.
