The Naperville Community Concert Center is located in Central Park at 104 E. Benton Avenue.

Photos above and below picture early this morning after crews had been busy in the sunshine cleaning up Central Park. On June 10, heavy winds and thunderstorms damaged trees and four park benches.

This brief announcement aims to inform band fans that the NMB Kids Concert scheduled for 7PM Thurs., June 11, has been canceled.

By mid-afternoon on June 11, fowl weather had returned to prompt the tough decision to cancel the NMB Kids Concert, according to Conductor Emily Binder.

Fact is, cancellation of the weekly summer band concert is the first in many, many years. Mother Nature has been good to Thursday evenings!

Note: Kids Concert now will be at 7PM Thurs., June 25.

The 3rd Annual Kids Concert under the leadership of Conductor Emily Binder returns at 7PM Thurs., June 25, in Central Park. Yard signs throughout the city remind folks that other Thursday evening NMB concerts continue weekly. After Aug. 13, yard signs will come down. Everybody’s welcome!

Let us suggest packing a picnic with a blanket to spread out on the lawn. Or purchase a pizza or other favorites to-go from one of the restaurants in downtown Naperville.

All NMB concerts are free of admission. Except for the Kids Concert, concerts begin at 7:30PM. And every NMB concert celebrates a different theme of memorable music.
