Naperville’s annual Restaurant Week begins Friday, Jan. 23, and runs through Sunday, Feb. 8. With over 40 restaurants around the city to choose from, explore tried and true favorites along with seven exciting new concepts.

All dining options are available, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner or something in between – and in Naperville, no registration fees are required. Patrons simply browse the Dine Naperville website for menus then navigate to the restaurant’s site directly for guidance on how to make reservations, should they be desired.

When you participate in restaurant week, you are supporting your small business community and the employees that work there, all while saving some of your hard-earned money. Restaurants spend weeks preparing for this fun event so don’t delay, grab your friends and family and book your tables.

“Some of our best moments in Naperville happen around a restaurant table: the big celebrations, the quick weeknight dinners and the conversations that turn into shared memories,” Mayor Scott Wehrli said. “That’s where we laugh, share stories, make plans and just enjoy being together.

Mayor Wehrli continued, “During Naperville Restaurant Week, it’s about more than a great meal at a great value. It’s a chance to show up for the people behind the scenes – the cooks, servers and staff – and for the local owners who pour so much into their businesses and into our community. I hope you’ll get out, visit your favorites, try a new place and support the restaurants that support Naperville all year-round. From foodies to families, Naperville Restaurant Week is for everyone!”

Make it a day to sip and savor flavors throughout the city. With free parking and easy access to two Metra stations, getting here is the easy part. Choosing from all the delicious options will be the challenge.

An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
