A two-day extravaganza filled with family-friendly fun, honoring the vibrant heritage and captivating culture of Ireland, Naperville Irish Fest is not to be missed. Naperville Farmer’s Market / 7AM to noon at Fifth Avenue Station – 200 E. 5th Ave. Naperville, IL 60563 / Build a farm-to-table meal with a plethora of locally grown food. You’ll also find an array products, performances and events, making this a great destination for the whole family. The Market runs every Saturday through October.

Looking ahead to next year…If you’re near Moser Tower at 3PM, Sept. 17, 2026, listen! Join Bells Across America, a celebration to honor the signing of the U.S. Constitution. Organized by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, the bell ringing is reminiscent of the church bells that rang in Philadelphia when the Constitution was signed in 1787.

And no matter where you are today or tomorrow, perhaps visit a local park or forest preserve to enjoy the beauty of the changing season and sing “America the Beautiful” as it was written from Pikes Peak back in 1893 by Katharine Lee Bates. —PN
