This year, you can enjoy the last remaining days of summer at the 40th Annual Riverwalk Fine Art Fair from 10AM to 5PM on Sat. and Sun., Sept. 20 and 21.

Hosted by the Naperville Art League, this highly anticipated event features the original work of 100 top artists from across the country set against the backdrop of Naperville’s vibrant Riverwalk. White tents will line Jackson Avenue between Main and Eagle Streets, each filled with distinctive pieces born of the artist’s imagination.

The fair transforms the downtown area into a marketplace where artists and art lovers can converge, converse, and celebrate their shared love of creativity and culture.

Individuals looking to enhance their homes or offices can explore a wide range of 2D and 3D artwork in various styles and find the perfect something for their spaces. Items purchased directly from their makers become more meaningful when buyers learn the inspiration, technique, and backstory of how they came to be, thus giving them a life of their own.

The DuPage Symphony, DuPage Children’s Museum, BrightSide Theatre, and Pura Vida Talk are just some of the entities adding excitement to the event. Music and activities will run throughout the weekend, giving all attendees something to relish.

The Riverwalk Fine Art Fair not only draws tens of thousands of visitors to Naperville, but also generates critical revenue for NAL while showcasing its ongoing offerings.

“We have proudly hosted the event for a span of 40 years with the help of countless member volunteers,” said Sally Sharp, Board president. “This keeps the doors to NAL’s Fine Art Center & Gallery open so we can continue bringing art opportunities to the community all year long.”

During the show, art fair goers seeking information on participating exhibitors, booth locations, NAL classes, and member benefits, as well as local restaurant recommendations, can find answers at NAL’s info booth on the northeast corner of Jackson and Webster.
