Oh, what fun it’s been to capture Paul Hinterlong reading PN for the past 20-plus years! Above, Paul was caught reading PN with Anna Zimmerman in front of Casey’s Foods while distributing Buddy Poppies in May 2024. PN was amused on their wedding day as PN prepared to snap a photo of the newlyweds. Paul asked, “Where’s a copy of the paper?” (PN Photo)

Fond memories kicked off a glorious wedding day for Anna Zimmerman and Paul Hinterlong beginning at noon on Sat., Sept. 6, 2025, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Naperville.

Applause! Applause! Cheers to the lovely ceremony for a couple of community-loving best friends!

Kramer Photography was present to take a complete set of wedding photos of the ceremony with family and friends in attendance.

For now, enjoy some of the photos out of the digital files of Positively Naperville, a small sampling from the 10-year-plus courtship we discovered while searching “Anna and Paul.”

Plan to walk or run in the 12th Annual Judd-A-Thon

If you’re looking for a short race with a big impact to benefit the VFW National Home for families, consider joining Anna and Paul at the annual Judd-A-Thon.

The Judd-A-Thon 0.1k Walk/Run steps off at 8AM Sun., Sept. 14, along the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion parking lot, near the VFW. Lots of prize-winning fun and costumes with raffles, refreshments and camaraderie are planned all morning outside the Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873.

Happy future, Anna & Paul!

One more thing: The first PN photo of Paul Hinterlong dates back to early 2002 when the Naperville Area Homeowners Confederation hosted a trade show at the then-Holiday Inn Select along Diehl Road at Naperville-Wheaton Road.

Photo appeared in the first-ever February issue of PN back in 2002—back before we used a digital camera! (PN Photo)
