Naper Settlement’s Naper Nights Community Concert Series wraps up for the season on from 5-10PM Aug. 15-16 . The concerts will include a Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead, and Phish tribute on Aug. 15 and a Wilco tribute on Aug. 16.
On from 8-10PM Friday, Aug. 15 , enjoy an unforgettable outdoor concert experience with Bears Gone Phishin’. This all-star tribute fuses the music of Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead, and Phish. Celebrate the iconic sounds of Wilco with an incredible night of music on Saturday, Aug. 16. From “California Stars” to “Impossible Germany,” Wilclone will perform everyone’s favorite Wilco hits from 8-10PM.
Opening for Bears Gone Phishin’ will be Cream Cheese Accident, who will perform a tribute to The String Cheese Incident from 6-7:30PM on Aug. 15. Great American Taxi will open the night from 6-7:30PM on Aug. 16 performing original music spanning several genres including rock & roll, pop, country, and R&B. Naper Nights will open each night with local students from the School of Rock playing their favorites on stage.
Naper Settlement will celebrate the community by offering local cuisine from a variety of vendors including Billy Bricks, Ben & Jerry’s, Craft Urban, Grumpy Gaucho, Guzman y Gomez, John’s Rib House, and Half Baked Goodness. There will be beer selections from Alter Brewing Company including a new light beer option, wine selections from Rodney Strong Vineyards, and two new canned cocktails including Lipton Hard Iced Tea and Salucita Paloma. A children’s area with activities provided by Pinot’s Palette and Chasers Laser Tag will also be on site. Each night, all tips collected at the beverage tents benefit a local organization. Tips on Friday benefit the DuPage Hispanic Alliance, and Saturday’s tips will go to the Kyle Zuleg Foundation.
