The retail resale shop accepts donations of clean, quality clothing (especially winter wear most of the time), household items, bedding and jewelry when the shop is open 10AM to 5PM Monday thru Saturday. Washington Street Bridge – Grand Reopening Celebration! / 11AM in Downtown Naperville – Washington Street Bridge, 419 S. Washington Street (southwest side of Bridge, in front of JC Licht where the paint store is celebrating 50 years). / After years of anticipation and 2.5-plus years of new construction, it’s time to officially welcome back one of our most beloved connections in Downtown Naperville… the Washington Street bridge is BACK and better than ever.
Update / Posted above are a few photos from the Grand Reopening Celebration of the Washington Street Bridge that also included recognizing the 50th anniversary of JC Licht and the 30th anniversary of Naperville Trolley & Tours. Music by Chicago’s Wackiest Marching Band added to the festivities that featured a ribbon-cutting, a trolley ride over the all-new bridge and a warm welcome for everybody to visit downtown Naperville.

Centennial Beach ‘Closed’ Notice / Centennial Beach will be closed on Fri., July 11, and will remain closed Sat., July 12. Naperville Park District anticipates reopening the facility Sun., July 13. Its normal schedule can be found at centennialbeach.org.

Naperville Riverwalk Pickers / 9:30AM / The Naperville Riverwalk Pickers will strum their hum-along music, sometimes with accompaniment of a harmonica, from 9:30AM to 11AM Saturdays, weather permitting, in the Free Speech Pavilion located near the Civic Plaza with the Dandelion Fountain, Jackson at Webster streets in downtown Naperville. All pickers are welcome to join the group and make music! Listening is free!

Water Street Fine Art & Fine Craft Fair / 10AM – 5PM / Water Street – 120 Water Street, Naperville, IL 60540 / The Water Street Fine Art & Fine Craft Fair, a juried art exhibition and sale, will return for a second year on Sunday, July 13 from 10AM until 5PM along Water and Webster Streets in Downtown Naperville, adjacent to the renowned Naperville Riverwalk, Naper Settlement and Hotel Indigo Naperville Riverwalk. The show will include a gathering of regional artists exhibiting fine art and fine crafts including painting, graphics, photography, mixed media, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, glass and wood.
Naperville’s Centennial Beach Reopens / 9AM Weekend Adult Float, 11AM Member Hours / Centennial Beach (500 W. Jackson Avenue, Naperville) will reopen to patrons on Sunday, July 13, operating with its normal Sunday/weekend schedule that can be found at centennialbeach.org.
