At approximately 6:06PM, lifeguards recovered an unresponsive 27-year-old male from the water. The Naperville Fire Department transported the individual to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Lifeguards were eventually notified and activated their missing person protocols.
There is no indication of foul play at this time. The official cause of death remains under investigation by the Naperville Police Department and the DuPage County Coroner’s Office.
