The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise will host an informal Get Acquainted Meet & Greet from 5:30-8PM on Thursday, May 29, at Quigley’s Irish Pub, 43 East Jefferson Avenue in Downtown Naperville. Rotary-Sunrise, now on its 34th year, meets for breakfast the first three Fridays each month at 7AM at Naperville Country Club. Meetings end at 8AM and feature speakers, member news, committee reports and volunteer opportunities in a jovial atmosphere.
“Our club is a unique blend of members both young and older who enjoy working together to make the world better,” noted Membership Co-chair Geoff Roehll. “We support youth and family initiatives locally and abroad and enjoy working on both hands-on projects and fundraising events. There are opportunities for everyone to contribute in whatever way suits them, but we always have fun.”
Among the fundraising projects presented annually by Naperville Sunrise Rotary are the Naperville St Paddy’s Day 5K, Rotary Ride and the NaperLights holiday display in Downtown Naperville.
In addition, members may serve on International, Community, Vocational or Youth Service committees, participate in community clean up, food drives, and several social events each year.
