The 18th annual Kite Fly, hosted by the Naperville Park District and presented by The Branch-Naperville Moms, will be held at Frontier Sports Complex, located at 3380 Cedar Glade Drive, from noon to 4PM on Sun., June 1.

This free event gives families the opportunity to view ginormous, spectacular kites flown by professional kite enthusiasts from Chicago Kite. Attendees can also join in on the fun and bring and fly their own kites.

In addition to the kite-flying festivities, attendees also can enjoy live music entertainment. This year beginning at noon, the Prairie Sky Quintet will play followed by the Naperville Municipal Big Band under the leadership of Tracy Oliver to delight visitors with their high-energy performances.

Additionally, returning to the 2025 Kite Fly is the popular Games from Around the World, hosted by KidsMatter.

Families can get a glimpse into different cultures throughout the world by playing various games. Participating children will receive a passport to take “around the world” – visiting countries, playing games and collecting stickers. More than 15 countries will be represented by a variety of community groups.

The Kite Fly event also includes many community sponsors. In addition, food trucks will be on site to purchase lunch and beverages.
