Rotary Sunrise Hosts ‘Drive-by Drop-Off’ for Baby & Mom Essentials

-

Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise is holding a Drive-By Drop-off Diaper and Mom’s Essentials Drive from 8 to 10AM on Friday, May 9, in front of Naperville Country Club, 25W570 Chicago Ave. The event is planned to support West Suburban Community Pantry which serves over 1,000 families each week from all over DuPage County including Naperville, Lisle, and Woodridge as well as Bolingbrook and Romeoville.

“As essential and costly as they are, diapers, baby wipes and personal products cannot be purchased with SNAP (food stamp) benefits,” said Deb Newman, Community Service Chair for Naperville Sunrise Rotary. “Sunrise Rotary is dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in our community. This is a great opportunity to honor mothers this Mother’s Day weekend and help them take care of themselves and their children.”

Items needed include: Diapers (especially sizes 4,5,6, Pull-ups), Baby Wipes, Diaper creams and ointments and Feminine Hygiene Products.

Donors may drop donations curbside with Rotary volunteers during collection hours of 8-10 AM. Donations also can be dropped off at the Pantry at 6809 Hobson Valley Drive Unit 118, Woodridge Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM.
