Élan Dance Company set to present free Dance Showcase Friday, May 30

Naperville Park District invites the community to the Élan Dance Company 2025 Showcase on Fri., May 30 at Pfeiffer Hall, located at 310 E Benton Ave on the campus of North Central College. The performance is scheduled to begin at 6:30PM  and will showcase a mix of dancing styles, including hip hop, jazz and ballet.

Tickets for the event are not needed, however seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Élan Dance Company provides quality dance training and a fundamental foundation in dance performance. Dancers will have the opportunity to improve their techniques while learning important teamwork skills, gaining experience participating in a dance company, and having fun. Élan Dance Company offers a competitive team and a performance-only team, and both companies participate in several performances throughout the year. The competitive team will participate in competitions as well.

For youngsters seeking to be a part of the company, auditions for the Élan Dance Company’s 2025-2026 season will be held Tues., May 27, at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, located at 305 W. Jackson Ave., in Community Hall. Auditions are from 4:30-8PM for ages 6-18. Audition times depend on age. Dancers must be 6 years old by September 1, 2025, to audition.

Registration is required to attend auditions along with the payment of a $10 fee.
