After five years, organizers of the summer camp program at DuPage County Animal Services again will host summer camps in June, July and August.
“We are thrilled to welcome in children of the community to learn about animals in our newly renovated animal shelter,” emailed Laura Winnie, Education and Community Engagement Coordinator. “We hope you will help us spread the news about our camp program!”
Participants will learn to understand what it means to be a true friend to a pet. Camp will cover what work is accomplished at the Animal Shelter and learn how to safely interact with different kinds of pets through crafts, activities, games and stories.
