American Legion Post 43 in Naperville has announced that registration is now in progress to participate in its 2025 Illinois Premier Boys State and Illini Girls State programs that are completely free.

Local high school juniors are invited to seize this unique opportunity for personal growth and civic engagement as well as an unforgettable, fun, and rewarding experience.

Illinois Premier Boys State and Illini Girls State are programs that prepare students to become tomorrow’s leaders. Through activities such as mock government sessions and civic education workshops, participants gain invaluable leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and a deeper understanding of democracy in action – all in a nonpartisan manner.

In addition to being free to attend, these programs offer opportunities to exclusive scholarships, giving students a chance to further their academic goals while standing out in their college applications.
