Naperville Responds For Veterans held its annual “Strength and Honor” Lunch on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, to honor and give thanks to Veterans. The Luncheon, held at Bobak’s Signature Events in Woodridge, featured keynote speaker and Army Veteran Mark Faldowski.

Keynote speaker Mark Faldowski is a co-founder and president of Legacies Alive. Legacies Alive provides unwavering support to our nation’s Gold Star Families. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he played football for the Black Knights. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army and was stationed in Oklahoma, Hawaii, and Washington. He had the privilege of serving in the 25th Infantry Division as well as the 75th Ranger Regiment. During his time on active duty, Mark served three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

To wrap up an uplifting afternoon, the Chorus of DuPage invited the audience to join them in a heartfelt rendition of “God Bless America,” filling the space with a sense of unity and patriotism.
