April Events at Naper Settlement

Naper Settlement presents the following events and programs during April 2025. The museum is open Tuesday-Friday from 10AM-4PM with general museum admission $6 for adults (13+), $5 for seniors (62+), and $4 for youth (4-12). Naperville residents with proof of residency, children under 4, and members receive complimentary admission. “Farm Forward” Photography Exhibit

Naper Settlement’s new photography exhibition “Farm Forward” shares insight into the Illinois agriculture industry and the many changing aspects of the growing community through the images of local photographer Jeffrey Ross. Further programming will accompany this photo collection as more farm stories are added to the collection.   

Family STEM Night: April Showers 

Thursday, April 10 • 6-7PM 

$8/person (recommended for families with children 12 and under) | Register 

Investigate the water cycle, experiment with rain-inspired activities, and explore the wonders of weather through hands-on fun for the whole family. This program is recommended for families with children 12 and under. Pre-registration is required.  

History Unplugged: Hands-on History (Middle School Teachers) 

Saturday, April 12 • 10 AM-12PM 

$10/teacher | Register 

Explore the rich, diverse stories of our community in this immersive workshop for middle school teachers. This professional development offers hands-on activities, interactive discussions, and practical teaching strategies to help bring local history to life in the classroom. Pre-registration is required. 

Downtown Naperville Architecture Walking Tour 

Thursday, April 17 • 5:30-6:30PM 

$15/person | Register

Learn about the important and interesting architecture from the 1800s to today that makes downtown Naperville a beautiful place to live, work, and play. The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes and covers about two miles. Open to all ages. Pre-registration is required. 

Craft by Beer: Birdhouses 

Thursday, April 24 • 7-9PM 

$20/adult (21+) | Register 

Welcome spring as you paint a charming birdhouse, all while sipping on your favorite adult beverage! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a first-time painter, you will enjoy creating something uniquely yours. Let the colors flow, the conversations bloom, and your creativity soar in this delightful crafting experience. This program is for adults only – you must be at least 21 years of age to participate. A valid ID is required at event entry. Pre-registration is required.
