On March 1, 2025, Little Friends celebrated its 60th anniversary during its 48th Annual Gala and Auction.
On Feb. 27, PN had stopped by Serendipity Resale Shop where the Thursday morning shift, one of the 12 shifts of volunteers that manages the shop six days a week, shared their enthusiasm for this special occasion year.
It’s altogether fitting that March is National Women’s History Month, a monthlong tribute held since 1987 to herald the accomplishments of women such as Dottee Krejci. Krejci recognized more than 60 years ago the needs of children for a school with services such as the ones provided by Little Friends, Inc.
What a history for Little Friends and all the individuals who have been served since 1965.
