The Naperville Senior Task Force is hosting a City Council Candidate Forum on March 20, 2025. The forum will take place at the Naperville Municipal Center Council Chambers from 7PM to 8:30PM. Please come and hear what the prospective City Council candidates have to say about issues of concern.
The task force has developed questions on topics of interest to Naperville’s community to be answered by each candidate. The Naperville community is invited to attend to see and hear the candidates’ responses. Questions will not be taken from the floor by those who are attending. The election will be on April 1, 2025.
Four council seats are up for election. Three sitting council members will seek re-election: Ian Holzhauer, Jennifer Bruzan Taylor, and Benny White. The only incumbent who will not run is Councilman Paul Leong. The five other candidates who submitted petitions to run for city council are Meghna Bansal, Mary Gibson, Nag Jaiswal, Derek McDaniel, and Ashfaq Syed.
Local elections are the most impactive on our daily lives, so please come and get to know those who are willing to represent us.
