West Suburban Irish Report
Everyone’s invited to get ready for a day of Irish pride and community spirit at the Naperville St. Patrick’s Day Parade, set to step off from Naperville North High School at 10AM on Sat., March 15, 2025.
This family-friendly event, hosted by West Suburban Irish (WSI), has been a beloved Naperville tradition since 1993.
With more than 3,000 participants and 15,000 spectators, the parade celebrates Irish heritage and culture in the heart of downtown Naperville.
Parade Route
- Starting Point: Corner of Mill Street and Ogden Avenue (Naperville North High School)
- South on Mill St. to Jefferson Avenue (left turn)
- East on Jefferson Ave. through downtown to Main Street (right turn)
- South on Main St. to Porter Avenue (right turn)
- West on Porter Ave.
- Ending Point: Webster and Porter (Naperville Central High School)

Parade Entry Registration Types & Standard Fees
- Business Entry: $200
- Political Candidate or Elected Official Entry: $200
- Not-for-Profit Organizations: $40
- Family/Youth Groups: $40
There is no parade entry fee for the following organizations: Marching Bands, Irish Dance Groups, Bagpipe/Drum Corps, & Medinah Shriners.
WSI allows for priority placement in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The fee of $250 is in addition to the standard entry fee listed above. Priority placement begins immediately following key dignitaries, honored guests, military units, the parade Grand Marshal, and/or other significant community leaders.

One more thing… The Rotary Sunrise St. Paddy’s Day 5K is set to begin at 8AM Sat., March 15. The fun 5K is a reason to run in downtown Naperville just before the parade steps off at 10AM.
