-

At the December 12, 2024 Park Board meeting, the Naperville Park District Board of Commissioners recognized five scouts who recently completed Eagle Scout projects at the Park District. President Gibson noted that these projects added a variety of high-quality improvements to Naperville’s parks.

The scouts recognized were: Brandon Kenny, who built and installed a bench at Heritage Woods; Gabe Vischer, who built a new flower bed that encompasses the park identification sign at Wildflower Park; Lillian Jaglin, who filled over 30 lawn bags with invasive plants such as garlic mustard and vines, and Natalie Dawes, who built and installed five duck boxes at May Watts, Hobson West Ponds, and Sportsman’s Park. Libby High who was not in attendance, was recognized for a communication board that she designed for Wolf’s Crossing Community Park.
